Drippic
Client Drippic Release Date Aril 1, 2010
For this project, the Drupal based photo sharing site Drippic wanted to create a fresh new identity.
Drippic is a photo sharing site with Twitter integration. It is built on the Drupal content management framework.
Drippic was created by Tim Millwood (Drupal developer) and launched April 2010 and now has over 8,000 subscribers across the globe.
The Brief
Think New Design was approached by Drippic to create an identity that world fit its Drupal based project. An
essential element of the brief was to incorporate the Drupal logo (a drop of water) into the new identity. It also
had to translate as a standalone logo and convey the message that is Drippic.
Client
"I was working on a new photo sharing site based on the Drupal Content Management System. I needed a brand and logo for the site so went to Think New Design. I wanted something that fitted with the fact that the site was using Drupal, the site name Drippic and the functionality of it being a photo sharing site.
What was delivered was an excellent brand and logo based on the Drupal logo of a drip as the lens of a camera. This is something I would of never thought of and the kind of idea you'd only get from Think New Design."
